The only reason why this is in the news is coz he is a
celebrity
We have the fair share of perverts who get caught having sex
with underaged girls here but no one remembers their name coz they
are not famous
Which makes it hard for me to understand why people want to be
celebrities.
I mean, everything you say and do gets scrutinized and put
through a fine-toothed comb. You go out with a certain girl, the
news reports it, you eat chicken rice at a coffeeshop, 8 Days
reports it.
Once I saw Edmund Chen shopping with his son at a small sports
shop at Parkway Parade. At another time, I saw Joanne Peh strolling
past Meatworks at ION. At both occasions, people were pointing and
gawking.
No way for one to live, methinks. I'd rather be a nobody.
